Explore two Peruvian wonders on an exciting two-day tour. Admire the unique beauty of Cusco’s new Mountain of Colors and the historic citadel of Machu Picchu. This tour is perfect for those seeking adventure, nature and culture in one trip.
ITINERARY
- 5:00 am: We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco to start the trip by minivan to Huarocondo (1 hour drive).
- Breakfast: Enjoy a delicious breakfast in Huarocondo, ideal to start the day with energy.
- Muyoc Lagoon: We continue the trip for 1 hour and 20 minutes to Muyoc Lagoon.
- Hike: We hike to the condor viewpoint and the spectacular stone forest, an impressive natural formation.
- New Montaña de Colores: Then we descend to the new Montaña de Colores. This still little known place will surprise you with its vibrant natural hues and tranquil landscapes.
- Lunch in Huarocondo: After exploring the mountain, we return to Huarocondo for a typical lunch.
- Ollantaytambo: After lunch, we head to Ollantaytambo (30 minutes), where we board the train to Aguas Calientes.
- Arrival in Aguas Calientes: Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel to rest and prepare for the second day.
- Breakfast: Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
- Bus to Machu Picchu: We take the bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu (30 minutes ride).
- Guided tour: Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, discovering the fascinating history and architecture of this wonder of the world.
- Free time: After the tour, you will have free time to continue exploring Aguas Calientes or relax.
- Return to Cusco: In the afternoon, we take the train back to Ollantaytambo and from there we will transfer you to Cusco.

It was really great organization from Cusco to the Amazon
We really enjoy our stayed in the Jungle Tambopata national reserve
We saw alots wild animals and boat rides were really cool

With this agency, we did three tours.... the best one was the Salkantay trek (4 days: a beautiful experience). Wilfredo was fantastic: he explained to us everything about the itinerary and the different possibilities to get the Machu Picchu tickets; he answered via whatsapp to our additional questions; we could rent the sticks and the sleeping bags in the same agency and we had all the assistence also at the end of the trekking to get back to Cusco. Other two important things: the cooker was very goos and during the trekking we ate very well; in the price of the tour were also included two nights in Aguas Calientes at the end of the trekking. We definitely recomend this agency, especially Wilfredo.
