This tour is ideal for those who have little time but want to live a complete experience in the Peruvian Amazon. With us, you will enjoy a comfortable and exciting adventure in one of the most amazing jungles in the world.
Day 1: Cusco – Paucartambo – Cloud Forest – Pilcopata
We begin our tour by picking up travelers from their hotels in Cusco. Throughout the day, we will travel through inter-Andean valleys and visit the ancient pre-Inca tombs of Ninamarca. At noon, we will arrive at the picturesque town of Paucartambo, known for its colonial houses and museums, where you can learn more about the traditions and history of the region.
Our next stop is the Acjanaco viewpoint, at 4,000 meters above sea level, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the cloud forest and lowlands. From here, we will enter the Manu National Park, passing through a cloud forest with lush vegetation, waterfalls, and a rich variety of birds such as the cock of the rock and various species of monkeys.
We will arrive at the lodge in the evening, where you will rest in a cozy rustic lodge surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Pilcopata Lodge – Atalaya – Lake Machuwasi

Afterwards, we will visit an animal rescue center, where you will be able to observe spider monkeys, marmosets, and capuchins, as well as a tapir, all guided by volunteers who will tell you their stories.
Later, we will depart for the village of Atalaya and board a motorboat that will take us across the river, offering you views of the incredible wildlife along the way. In the afternoon, we will explore Lake Machuwasi, where you will have the opportunity to see caimans, hoatzins (a prehistoric bird), capybaras and many other species in their natural habitat. Sailing on a raft made of balsam sticks will be a unique experience to get even closer to nature.
At the end of the day, we will return to the lodge to rest.
